Chmielna Duo inspired by art déco - a new development from BPI Real Estate Poland in the heart of Warsaw!

Chmielna Duo, BPI Real Estate Poland's latest development in the heart of Warsaw, was inspired by the art déco style. The project is distinguished by a rooftop garden, the use of high-quality building materials, and an open shopping gallery that will connect Chmielna and Złota streets.

The Chmielna Duo sales offer includes 243 residential units and apartments, designed for people who appreciate life in the center of a European metropolis, which modern Warsaw undoubtedly is.  It is also an excellent investment product for anyone considering the Warsaw rental market as an attractive form of capital investment. The general contractor of the project is CFE Polska, a company member of the same Belgian group as BPI Real Estate Poland. The architectural design, in turn, was prepared by the S.A.M.I. ARCHITEKCI studio.

Chmielna Duo is the latest project by BPI Real Estate Poland realized in the spirit of sustainable development, as well as the concept of a 15-minute city. The project involves the construction of two buildings with elegant architecture inspired by the art déco style. A distinguishing element of the BPI Real Estate Poland project is a rooftop garden and an inner green courtyard with landscaping elements. The two buildings are very consistent in terms of architecture, as well as the building materials used in both the interiors and facade. The theme is copper and elegant cement-fiber panels, and the whole is complemented by large windows that provide maximum daylight to the apartments.

“Our projects focus on both well-thought-out architecture and their city-forming character. We take into account both the location of the site and the surrounding buildings. The location in the very center of Warsaw, vis-à-vis the tallest office building in the European Union Varso Tower, obliges. That's why, in cooperation with architects, we opted for a building that is visually attractive, fits in with the surrounding buildings and at the same time adds value to the local community. The shopping gallery, which is being developed as part of the Chmielna Duo project, is such an element. In addition, the architectural assumptions of this project refer to the pre-war development of Chmielna Street, which historically had two frontages," says Andrzej Świder Project Director at BPI Real Estate Poland.

The Chmielna Duo development will include 243 residential units and apartments ranging in size from 35 to over 105 sqm located in 2 buildings. The project also includes an underground garage with an entrance from Chmielna Street and 6 retail units in an open shopping arcade that will connect Chmielna Street with Złota Street. The amenities for residents include a reception desk, charging stations for electric cars, as well as bicycle racks and washer facilities for bikes and dogs.  On the top floor of one of the buildings there will be a garden with trees and rich low-growing vegetation, as well as landscaping elements. In addition to common spaces, the inner green courtyard will also feature gardens belonging to apartments located on the ground floor.

The Chmielna Duo project is entirely financed by the developer's own funds. The general contractor for the project is CFE Poland, a company belonging to the same Belgian group as BPI Real Estate Poland.

Preparatory work is currently underway at the construction site. The project is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2025.

The prices of apartments in the Chmielna Duo development in BPI Real Estate Poland's pre-sale offer average PLN 27,000 per sqm.
